Hi-Fi Rush physical copies miss promised DLC content

Some Japanese physical editions of Hi-Fi Rush lack the game's DLC, which was promised to be included on the disc. Publisher Superdeluxe Games has apologized and said it is investigating the issue.

Superdeluxe Games, the Japanese branch of Limited Run Games, released the disc edition of Hi-Fi Rush earlier this month. Buyers who inserted the discs into their PS5 consoles found that the add-on content was absent.

The missing material includes cosmetic items such as costumes for protagonist Chai, along with the B-Sides expansion that adds new songs and an Arcade Challenge mode. Limited Run Games versions sold in other territories in January did not have this problem.

In a statement posted on X, Superdeluxe Games said it had let down buyers and was working on countermeasures. The company promised to share more information once details are finalized.
