The star, who shares sons Beckett, 5, and Sullivan, 3, with husband Justin Mikita, said the downtime on set helped him meet children where they are and stay open to their questions. Ferguson has kept the series off-limits for his boys so far, though they caught a glimpse of his fame at the 2024 SAG Awards when the adult cast reunited.
