Chávez Jr. holds a record of 55 wins, seven losses, and one draw, with 35 knockouts since his 2003 debut. His most recent bout was on January 24 in San Luis Potosí, where he won by technical knockout in the fourth round against Ángel Julián Sacco.
Jhon Caicedo, with 13 wins and one loss—including five knockouts—aims to rebound after a third-round knockout loss to Avni Yildirim in Istanbul.
