Kan Miyoun opens up about memory loss from anti-fan trauma

Kan Miyoun of first-generation K-Pop group Baby V.O.X revealed on a recent television appearance that severe trauma from anti-fans has erased most of her memories from her 20s and 30s.

Kan Miyoun appeared on Channel S’s Noldun Unnie 2 and described how a scandal involving H.O.T. leader Moon Hee Joon turned the group into targets of roughly two million anti-fans.

She recounted constant fear during her teenage years, stating she would panic at the sight of a school uniform. Fellow member Kim E-Z added that more than 200 anti-fans once surrounded the group inside a store and attempted to break the door and windows.

Kan Miyoun disclosed the lasting impact, saying she has almost no memory from her 20s to 30s. Despite the experiences she continues to honor Baby V.O.X’s legacy.
