Kandi Burruss opened up on her Speak on It podcast about the long-simmering tension with Tamar Braxton.
She stated plainly that she does not like Tamar and called her a fake person who only gets attention by talking about others. Kandi explained the awkward July Essence event where Tamar joined her onstage uninvited and tried to acknowledge her despite prior shade.
At a later Atlanta party, Kandi claimed Tamar mumbled an insult while passing by, prompting Kandi to give her the cold shoulder. Tamar later told The Morning Hustle show she meant no harm and just wants peace.
The back-and-forth dates back years to their early R&B days with no end in sight.
