Lewis Hamilton secured his maiden victory for Ferrari at the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. The win ended a difficult 2025 season for the seven-time champion and marked his first Grand Prix success in almost two years.
Ferrari released a behind-the-scenes video showing the team's preparations and celebrations during the weekend. Hamilton executed a three-stop strategy to defeat Mercedes.
Hamilton credited his fans for support during his challenging first year with the team. "I really feel like my fans really rescued me last year," he said after the race.
The Briton now sits second in the drivers' standings, 41 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli. Former world champion Damon Hill said Ferrari would be "silly" not to listen to Hamilton's feedback given its investment in the driver.
The Austrian Grand Prix is scheduled for 26-28 June at the Red Bull Ring, where Ferrari plans to introduce an upgraded power unit.
