Lil Wayne launches 'The Joint Venture' podcast with Craig Carton

Lil Wayne is launching a new weekly podcast called The Joint Venture alongside WFAN radio host Craig Carton. The show will begin airing episodes on July 22.

The New Orleans rapper and Carton plan to record their first episode live at Fanatics Fest NYC on July 19. Guests scheduled to appear include former New York Jets star Darrelle Revis, ex-New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire and New York Giants Super Bowl-winning quarterback Eli Manning.

Wayne previously hosted Young Money Radio on Apple Music. In a statement he said the best podcasts feel like kicking it with your people and added that he and Carton will talk about whatever the day brings.

Carton noted the pair have been friends for years and described the show as an excuse to keep swapping takes on sports, pop culture and other topics. Lil Wayne performed a concert in Chicago on July 17 as part of his tour marking 20 years of Tha Carter. His most recent album, Tha Carter VI, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after its June 2025 release.
