Lou Gramm shares 'Young Love' from upcoming solo album

Lou Gramm, the original frontman of Foreigner, has released the single 'Young Love' from his long-awaited solo album 'Released.' The track features guitarist Vivian Campbell and is part of a collection of unreleased songs from the 1980s. The full album is set for release on March 27.

Lou Gramm, co-founder and original frontman of the rock band Foreigner, has shared a new single titled 'Young Love,' featuring Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell. This marks the first preview from his upcoming solo album, Released, scheduled for March 27. The 10-track album consists of unreleased songs recorded in the 1980s during the production of Gramm's earlier solo efforts, including Ready or Not (1987) and Long Hard Look (1989).

Gramm co-wrote the songs with his former Black Sheep bandmate Bruce Turgon. The album boasts contributions from notable musicians, such as bassist Tony Franklin on 'Long Gone' and Gramm's brother Ben Gramm on drums. In a statement, Gramm described the project: "My new album Released is a collection of unreleased songs that were recorded in the 1980s during the production of my three previous solo albums. These are powerful, heartfelt songs with a great vintage sound taken right from my old multitrack tapes. This new album was a long time coming and it's a real nostalgia trip."

He added: "When I pulled these songs out of the vault, I knew I had to finish them for my fans around the world, so they can experience what I did when I first heard them after all these years. It means a lot to me to finally see this album released, to be taken back in time when I hear this music again, to remember working with all these great musicians, and to feel that my catalog is now complete."

The tracklist includes:
1. 'Young Love'
2. 'Lightning Strikes'
3. 'Walk the Walk'
4. 'Long Gone'
5. 'Heart and Soul'
6. 'Long Hard Look'
7. 'True Blue Love (Unplugged)'
8. 'Deeper Side of Love'
9. 'Time Heals the Pain'
10. 'Word Gets Around'

Gramm, who continues to perform select dates with Foreigner, will also appear at the 70s Rock & Romance festival cruise from March 21 to 28. Produced by Gramm himself, Released revives his solo catalog with a vintage rock sound.
