Man arrested in 2008 sun drop bottling company murders

Police in North Carolina have arrested a man nearly two decades after a double murder at a bottling company. Johnny Steven Talbert, 43, faces charges in the 2008 killings of two people at the Sun Drop Bottling Company in Concord.

Authorities say the shooting occurred around 10 a.m. on June 13, 2008, when a gunman entered the Sun Drop Bottling Company at 360 Old-Salisbury Concord Road and opened fire. Donna Barnhardt, 59, the office manager, and Darrell Noles, 44, who was applying for a job, were both killed at the scene. Investigators believe the suspect stole money from the office before fleeing.
