A 44-year-old man was charged with attempted murder after he allegedly opened fire at employees of a Memphis restaurant following his ejection for attacking a woman.

Roberto Ortiz was removed from Tequila Town on North White Station Road in Memphis on May 2 just before 7 p.m. Employees said he had been hitting a woman and asked him to pay and leave. Ortiz reportedly told one worker, 'You're going to die,' and another heard him say, 'I'm going to kill you' and 'I'm going to shoot you.'
