Miley Cyrus has signed with Atlantic Records after leaving Columbia Records. The move ends her time at the label she joined in 2021.
Miley Cyrus is moving to Atlantic Records, home to artists including Bruno Mars, Charli XCX, Cardi B and Kehlani. The switch was confirmed by Rolling Stone.
She joined Columbia Records in 2021 and released singles such as “Jaded” and “Flowers,” the latter earning her first Grammy Award in 2024. Her earlier career included a start at Disney with the Hannah Montana role and the 2009 hit “Party in the U.S.A.,” followed by a 2013 shift to RCA Records for the album Bangerz.
Cyrus has not headlined a tour since the Bangerz outing. In a recent interview she discussed her approach to songwriting, saying it feels like “crossing over to another side sometimes.”
The change at Atlantic comes after Ed Sheeran left the label for Interscope Records earlier this year.
