Mineros advances La Pepa project in Chile and appoints operations manager

Mineros S.A. launched its work plan to advance the La Pepa Project in Chile and appointed Rafael Casas Plata as project manager. The company submitted a technical report compliant with NI 43-101 and acquired full ownership of the project on September 22, 2025. This establishes Chile as Mineros' third operational jurisdiction, enhancing its position in the Maricunga Gold Belt.

Mineros S.A., a gold mining company headquartered in Medellín, Colombia, announced the launch of its work plan for the La Pepa Project, a gold exploration site in Chile's Atacama Region. The project is located in the Maricunga Gold Belt, approximately 800 km north of Santiago and 110 km east of Copiapó along International Highway CH-31. It is wholly owned by Minera Cavancha SpA, a subsidiary of Mineros.

On September 22, 2025, Mineros acquired its former partner's stake in the joint venture, initiating a structured program to advance the project's development and create early value. As part of these efforts, the company appointed Rafael Casas Plata as project manager and voluntarily filed a technical report compliant with National Instrument 43-101 on Sedar+.

“The appointment of Rafael and the mobilization of capital for exploration and development reflect our commitment to advancing La Pepa quickly and responsibly,” stated Daniel Henao, CEO of Mineros. He added: “While our primary strategic focus remains on acquiring production-stage assets, growing the over 2.0 million ounces of gold resources at La Pepa and accelerating this gold exploration project will strengthen our position in the Maricunga Gold Belt, one of the world's highest-potential gold districts."

The estimated mineral resources, effective October 31, 2021, include measured resources of 58,816 kt at 0.61 g/t Au, containing 1,150 koz Au; indicated resources of 65,405 kt at 0.49 g/t Au, with 1,039 koz Au; and inferred resources of 25,024 kt at 0.46 g/t Au, with 366 koz Au. The Maricunga district hosts over 70 million ounces of gold, including projects operated by major miners such as La Coipa and Caspiche.

This integration geographically diversifies Mineros, which primarily operates in Colombia and Nicaragua, and underscores its commitment to responsible development in world-class gold regions.
