Örebro Black Knights defeated Carlstad Crusaders 41–40 in Superserien Herr on Saturday. The team trailed by 13 points but mounted a comeback in the final minutes.
The match was played in Karlstad where Carlstad Crusaders were undefeated after six rounds. Örebro Black Knights traveled there with only 25 players and without their quarterback Viktor Ekberg. Despite trailing by 13 points with less than five minutes remaining, Örebro turned the game around to secure the win. Star player Filip Jönsson commented afterwards: ”Vi kan absolut gå hela vägen, om vi är redo att göra det obekvämt för oss själva.” Carlstad Crusaders had previously beaten Örebro at Behrn Arena in the season opener.
