The Prosperity Party outlined its record on pledged promises in politics, economy, social development and foreign relations five years after winning the sixth general election.
The Prosperity Party established the National Dialogue Commission by proclamation to address political fractures and collected agendas from more than 200,000 participants across regions and levels. Reforms were made to institutions such as the Human Rights Commission and the National Election Board to operate free from executive influence.
In the economic sector, summer irrigation wheat development began, corridor development projects advanced and macroeconomic reforms including a market-based foreign exchange rate were implemented to control inflation through production growth. Construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam was completed with power generation started.
In social development, a new education curriculum was rolled out and the Green Legacy programme planted billions of seedlings. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated that doors for peace remain open to those willing to engage in dialogue.
