Author Rebecca Yarros has revealed details of a new book in her Empyrean series. The title will be released later this year as a collection of short stories rather than a direct sequel.
Rebecca Yarros announced the book on Instagram. Titled Threshing Day, it forms the fourth addition to the bestselling Empyrean series and will be available on September 29.
The volume contains 13 stories centered on characters during Threshing Day at Basgiath War College. This event marks the moment when cadets bond with their dragons. A deluxe first edition will include 16 original full-color illustrations by Joe Requeza.
Yarros noted that she continues work on the actual fourth book in the series. Threshing Day is available for preorder now.
