Malmö's ninth graders achieve record school results. At Örtagårdsskolan in Rosengård, eligibility for upper secondary school has risen to 87 percent.
Principal Sirry Hedberg welcomes the improvement at the school. She stresses that the state subsidy has made it possible to build an organization that gives students the support they need.
At the same time she is concerned that the subsidy is now being withdrawn. The development follows the pattern in Stockholm where eligibility has also increased.
In Gothenburg, however, crisis figures are reported for the corresponding group of students.
