Squale offers limited edition Marina Militare watch to public

Squale has released a limited-edition version of its 2001 diver watch based on its longstanding partnership with the Italian Navy. The new model marks the first time such a navy-issued timepiece is available for civilian purchase.

The Squale 2001 Marina Militare features a 41mm stainless steel case with a 47.2mm lug-to-lug length and 13mm thickness. It offers 600 meters of water resistance and includes a bidirectional bezel with a navy blue insert.

The dial uses a semi-matte sunburst navy blue finish matched to Italian Navy dress uniforms, along with printed diver indices and a Marina Militare logo at 6 o'clock. Power comes from an Elaboré-grade Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement.

Only 500 examples will be produced. Each watch includes a royal blue rubber strap and carries a suggested retail price of $1,965. The model is now available through authorized dealers.
