Todd Woodbridge calls out rude question about wife

Australian tennis legend Todd Woodbridge defended his wife Natasha during a recent interview, describing questions about her role as rude.

Woodbridge, a 22-time Grand Slam champion, spoke to Nine.com.au about the support his wife has provided throughout his career. He said the questions directed at her were disrespectful given her many responsibilities.

“It’s a rude question, I think,” Woodbridge stated. “It’s rude because Tash played the role of partner, wife, psychologist, running our travel, running our house, putting the kids through school, while I was focused on one thing, and that was a job on its own.”

The couple married in 1995 after meeting as teenagers. Woodbridge credited Natasha’s choice to support his tennis career, noting it was a rare commitment at that age. He also highlighted her sister Nicole’s own tennis achievements, including an Olympic bronze medal.

Woodbridge won 11 major doubles titles with Mark Woodforde and five more with Jonas Björkman, along with six mixed doubles titles. He later transitioned into broadcasting.
