YTR, the kidnapping victim in Bandung district, shows signs of recovery after Taufik Hidayat was arrested Tuesday night. She says she has made peace and plans to start an online geprek chicken business.
Erni, YTR's aunt, shared the latest update via Instagram on Thursday. She said her niece has made peace with the situation and resigned herself to accepting everything that happened.
"Mental kamu kuat... (YTR) bilang sudah berdamai dengan semuanya, ikhlas, pasrah menerima semua keadaan," Erni wrote. YTR also mentioned her desire to start an online geprek chicken business.
Taufik Hidayat was arrested by a joint West Java Police team on Tuesday night, 23 June 2026, after surrendering with help from his former boss, Dadang Ahyar Ismail. Police said they treated the suspect humanely and are examining his mental condition.
Erni hopes the legal process runs smoothly so YTR obtains justice. She also thanked the public for continued support and prayers.
