Vogue and Wilson hosted an intimate gathering in London to mark tennis player Marta Kostyuk's latest collaboration with the sporting goods brand. The event showcased her custom dress designed for the upcoming Wimbledon tournament.
On one of the hottest June days recorded in the UK, guests gathered in the Victorian gardens of the Templeton Hotel. They mingled under straw hats while sampling tuna tartare and grilled figs with champagne and mocktails.
Kostyuk, a Ukrainian athlete on a career high after reaching the Roland-Garros semi-finals, presented her new two-piece dress. The outfit features technical lace, four-way stretch fabric and a matching bra, vest and skirt system.
British Vogue fashion market editor Honey Sweet Elias led a discussion with Kostyuk and Wilson chief creative officer Joelle Michaeloff. Kostyuk said it was important to feel like herself on court and described the dress as a good challenge that meets Wimbledon's strict dress code.
The 2026 version follows the first Marta Dress, which debuted at Wimbledon in 2024. Wilson and Kostyuk began work on the latest iteration last year in Washington D.C., using 3D imaging to reduce fabric waste.
