Walt Disney World removes 40 menu items across its properties

Walt Disney World has removed 40 items from menus at its parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, with changes taking effect over the past week. The updates span Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and other locations including Blizzard Beach. Specific favorites like Shepherd’s Pie and the Mickey brownie are among those no longer available.

The menu alterations, observed across multiple venues, include the removal of pan-roasted Arctic char from Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. At EPCOT’s Rose & Crown Dining Room, Shepherd’s Pie and a plant-based gelato option have disappeared, while Spice Road Table dropped its naan spreads. Hollywood Studios locations such as Hollywood & Vine and 50’s Prime Time Cafe lost the Pink Spritzer and an allergy-friendly pot roast, respectively, as reported by Inside the Magic on April 22, 2026. Quick-service spots saw repeated cuts to items like mojo-roasted chicken, Mediterranean meatball bowls, and beef stir-fry at various resorts. Resort food courts experienced significant impacts, with these repeated removals suggesting a coordinated effort to simplify offerings. At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Barefoot Pool Bar and Oasis Bar and Grill removed fruit and cheese plates and chocolate haupia tarts, replacing them with pork wings and flatbreads. Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs swapped the Mickey brownie for a different version, and Blizzard Beach eliminated coleslaw. Disney has not issued an official announcement about the changes, which affected lounge and snack spots alongside full meals. The widespread nature of the removals, totaling 40 confirmed items, coincides with ongoing adjustments for operational needs amid fluctuating crowds.
