Wuling Darion stands out at IIMS 2026 with comfort features

At the Indonesia International Motor Show 2026, Wuling showcased the electric Darion MPV, highlighting cabin comfort and door access. Users like actor Dion Wiyoko and his wife Fiona praised its spacious interior and family-friendly seat configuration. The model comes in EV and PHEV variants starting from Rp399 million.

On Friday, February 13, 2026, at JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta, Wuling Motors introduced user experiences with the Wuling Darion through actor Dion Wiyoko's story and Putri Habibie's impressions. Dion, with a small family and busy routines like school drop-offs, highlighted the cabin space as the main attraction. "For comfort and features, it's already visible; the space is what first caught my interest. I think it's perfect, even for a small family with a large entourage. With the EV engine, sliding door, and sunroof, it feels like an all-in-one package from the Wuling Darion," he said.

His wife, Fiona, emphasized the seat configuration's ease for young children. "We're definitely very comfortable sitting in the captain seats. The space is spacious. We can adjust it to almost full recline. The child can have a car seat right next to us. The second-row captain seat configuration makes it easy to sit beside a child in a car seat, while the third row can still be used for family members or luggage," she stated.

The Darion features Autocomfort Power Sliding Door, Smart Electric Tailgate, and electric captain seats with ventilated options in the second row, supporting long-trip comfort. Putri Habibie, who tested the unit, described it as a luxurious 7-seater and baby-friendly MPV. "It looks very luxurious and is a 7-seater, so it fits many people; it's very comfortable for families. Most importantly, it's baby-friendly. As an electric car, it's definitely fuel-efficient, and the features are advanced," she remarked.

Technologically, the Darion runs on Ling OS with Wuling Indonesian Voice Command (WIND), Internet of Vehicle (IoV), ADAS Level 2, and 360° Surround View Camera. In the Indonesian market, the EV variant is priced from Rp399 million to Rp455 million, while the PHEV ranges from Rp449 million to Rp499 million, positioning it in the electrified family MPV segment.
