Thom Browne unveils ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 sneaker collaboration

American luxury label Thom Browne has released details on its first sneaker collaboration with ASICS, reimagining the GEL-Kayano 14 runner. The collection debuted at Thom Browne's Fall 2026 runway show in San Francisco and features three monochrome colorways. It is set for global release on March 2, 2026, at a price of $450 USD.

Thom Browne's partnership with ASICS marks the designer's entry into sneaker collaborations, transforming the heritage GEL-Kayano 14 from the 2000s. The shoes were first shown during Thom Browne’s Fall 2026 runway presentation at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, blending avant-garde tailoring with performance wear.

The capsule includes a three-pack of sleek monochrome designs: Premium Grey with a breathable mesh upper and plush premium suede overlays; Triple Black made with heavy suede; and Triple White using crisp leather and mesh. Each retains the original model's technical features, including signature GEL cushioning for comfort.

Distinctive elements reflect Thom Browne's aesthetic, such as thick embroidered piping as an homage to the designer's precise tipping, and intricate zig-zag stitching across the side panel logo. The iconic red, white, and blue tri-color grosgrain flag serves as a bold pull tab at the heel and accents the tongue stabilizer. A cross-stitch finish nods to both brands.

Pre-orders are available now, with the full release scheduled for March 2, 2026, through Thom Browne, ASICS, and select retailers. The MSRP is $450 USD for each pair.
