Uwekezaji huo utaharakisha mabadiliko ya kidijitali nchini Kenya na kuunda fursa kwa vijana na biashara. Ruto alizungumza baada ya mazungumzo na Makamu wa Rais wa Tume ya Ulaya Henna Virkkunen.

Wajumbe pia walipitia maendeleo ya Mkataba wa Ushirikiano wa Kiuchumi wa EU-Kenya. Chini ya mkataba huo, mauzo ya Kenya kwa EU yameongezeka zaidi ya asilimia 20 tangu ulipoanza kutumika.
