Chief of Cabinet Manuel Adorni prepares his July 2 presentation as the judicial probe into his asset growth continues and the government admits the scandal persists.
Adorni chose to focus on preparing his management report to the Senate, scheduled for July 2. The official faces a case for alleged illicit enrichment handled by Judge Ariel Lijo and Prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita.
The courts are examining expenses of US$408,662, debts of US$335,000 and credit card spending that reached $85 million in 2025. The operations include the purchase of an apartment in Caballito and renovations to another property.
President Javier Milei maintains his explicit support for Adorni, who explained his asset differences with undeclared savings and Bitcoin investments made between 2014 and 2018. Official sources acknowledged that whenever the controversy seemed to subside it rose again.
