Aeroméxico today presented the renovation of its international and national premier lounges at mexico city international airport. The spaces feature contemporary design, mexican and international gastronomy, and local art to enhance the premium passenger experience.
The international premier lounge, designed by gensler, spans 1,230 square meters and accommodates up to 206 people. Inspired by xochimilco, it offers relaxation zones, mixology bars and the chef's table with rotating menus from international chefs.
The national premier lounge covers 1,088 square meters and seats 187 passengers. Its design draws from mexico city lights and includes work areas, videoconference cabins and inclusive restrooms.
Andrés castañeda, aeroméxico executive vice president of digital and customer experience, said the lounges aim to elevate the premium experience through service, exclusivity and comfort. Curator josé esparza chong cuy emphasized the inclusion of works by artists such as graciela iturbide to promote cultural diplomacy.
