Boards of Canada shares two new songs from upcoming album

The Scottish electronic duo Boards of Canada has released two new tracks that open their first album in 13 years. The songs arrive with a video and set the stage for the full record later this month.

Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin released “Introit” and “Prophecy at 1420 MHz” on May 7. The pair form the opening suite of the forthcoming album Inferno, which follows the group’s 2013 release Tomorrow’s Harvest. A Robert Beatty-directed video accompanies the tracks and extends the VHS-style imagery used in earlier teasers for the project.
