Comedian Boiyen has filed for divorce from her husband, Rully Anggi Akbar, at the Tigaraksa Religious Court in Tangerang, before their marriage reaches three months. The wedding, held on November 15, 2025, is now entering the trial process amid public scrutiny of Rully's legal troubles. The first hearing took place on January 27, 2026, with the next scheduled for February 3, 2026.
The marriage of comedian Boiyen, whose real name is Yeni Rahmawati, and Rully Anggi Akbar, also known as Ezel, has hit rough waters just two months after their wedding on November 15, 2025. Boiyen filed for divorce on January 20, 2026, at the Tigaraksa Religious Court in Tangerang. The court confirmed the registration under the names YR and RAK.
"The case was registered on January 20, 2026, under YR (Yeni Rahmawati) and RAK (Rully Anggi Akbar). The first hearing was yesterday, Tuesday, January 27, 2026," said Mohammad Sholahuddin, a court official, when met by reporters on January 28, 2026.
The court did not detail the reasons for the divorce but confirmed Boiyen as the plaintiff. The next hearing is scheduled for February 3, 2026.
The news has revived public memory of the couple's appearance on Deddy Corbuzier's podcast. When asked about his reasons for marrying Boiyen, Rully replied, "It seems like she (Boiyen) was ready to get married. Age, and what she lacked was just that, marriage, a partner. Maybe there's some playfulness, yeah," while laughing. This statement is now viral again and criticized by netizens as unserious.
Meanwhile, Rully faces allegations of fraud and misappropriation of investment funds for a restaurant business in Sleman, Yogyakarta. A complainant with initials RF claims losses of Rp300 million to Rp400 million.
Rully's lawyer, Ben Zebua, stated his client is doing well. "Our client is fine. We met three days ago, condition getting fitter, fresher, no mental issues at all. Safe," he said. Ben deferred comments on the divorce until an official summons, prioritizing the police report first.
"We can't respond to the divorce yet. So we're focusing on the police report first," Ben said.
