Inbound tourism in Colombia reached $54.7 billion in revenue in 2025, an 8.4% increase from the previous year, according to preliminary data from Dane released by Anato.
The Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (Dane) released preliminary figures from the Cuenta Satélite de Turismo for 2025. The sector accounted for 2.4% of the country’s gross value added.
Inbound tourism generated $54.7 billion driven by 4.6 million international visitors. Spending on travel agencies rose 12% to $302 billion.
Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of Anato, stated: “These figures demonstrate the resilience and appeal that Colombia continues to project to the world.” Domestic tourism contributed $23.6 billion and outbound tourism $23.9 billion.
The sector employed more than 995 thousand people in 2025, a 10.7% increase. Travel agencies provided 37,713 jobs.
