አዲስ አበባ በተያዘው ዓመት ከ150 በላይ አህጉራዊና ዓለም አቀፋዊ ኮንፈረንሶችን አስተናግዳለች። የተባበሩት መንግሥታት የቱሪዝም ማዕከል ኢትዮጵያን በ2025ና 2026 በዓለም ፈጣን የቱሪዝም እድገት እያሳዩ ከሚገኙ ሀገራት መካከል መድቧታል።
በበጀት ዓመቱ የመጀመሪያ 9 ወራት ውስጥ ከሀገር ውስጥ ጎብኚዎች 60 ቢሊየን ብር ገቢ ተገኝቷል። የዓለም የጉዞና የቱሪዝም ምክር ቤት በ2025 የ15 በመቶ የጎብኚዎች ዕድገት እንዳሳየች አመልክቷል።
መንግሥት ቱሪዝምን ከአምስቱ የኢኮኖሚ ምሰሶዎች አንዱ አድርጎ በመቀበል የቅርስ ጥበቃና የመሠረተ ልማት ሥራዎችን አጠናክሯል።
