A collision between a truck and a minibus on the Mexico-Pachuca highway in the State of Mexico resulted in 13 injured people, including a minor.
The incident occurred northbound at the El Vigilante point, before Avenida San José. The vehicles, heading to the Indios Verdes terminal in Mexico City's Gustavo Madero borough, were traveling at excessive speed.
Emergency crews, Civil Protection and prehospital care staff from Tlalnepantla treated the injured. Municipal police and National Guard elements managed traffic and conducted the investigation.
The Tlalnepantla government urged drivers to reduce speed and use alternate routes. The area is known for frequent accidents due to speeding.
