K.L. Rahul scored 60 runs and Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets as Delhi Capitals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 40 runs in their final IPL 2026 league match at Eden Gardens on May 24.
K.L. Rahul’s aggressive knock of 60 runs off 30 balls helped Delhi Capitals reach 203 for five. David Miller added a quick 28 runs with three sixes. Kuldeep Yadav then took three wickets for 29 runs, including the key dismissals of Ajinkya Rahane and Rinku Singh, to restrict Kolkata Knight Riders to 163.
Rahane top-scored for the hosts with 63 runs but could not prevent the defeat. Lungi Ngidi also claimed three wickets for Delhi Capitals. The match lost much of its importance after Rajasthan Royals secured the final playoff spot earlier in the day.
The 33,000 spectators at Eden Gardens still enjoyed Rahul’s batting display against the Kolkata spinners. Delhi Capitals finished their league campaign with a clinical performance.
