The Chemicals and Fertilizers Export Council launched an EU Export Incubator programme on 28 July 2026 to help Egyptian companies meet European Union regulations as part of efforts to support the sector's green transition.
The Chemicals and Fertilizers Export Council has launched a new EU Export Incubator programme to help Egyptian companies comply with European Union regulations. The initiative forms part of a strategy to accelerate the chemical sector's green transition and boost export competitiveness.
The programme was unveiled at a workshop titled “Responding to Green Transition Requirements in Chemical Industry Exports”. The event was organised with the German Agency for International Cooperation and Lynx Business Advisors.
Mohamed Magid, Executive Director of the CEC, said the green transition has become a defining factor in export competitiveness. He noted that the European Union accounts for around 42 percent of the sector’s exports.
The programme will conclude with a trade mission to France from 1 to 4 February 2027. The council also opened registration for Egyptian companies to join a national pavilion at six international trade exhibitions.
