ኢትዮጵያ የቀድሞውን የተሽከርካሪ ሰሌዳ በማስቀረት ወጥ ሀገራዊ ሥርዓትን እየዘረገች ነው። አዲሱ ሰሌዳ የኢት ኮድና የQR ኮድ ይዟል።
ኢትዮጵያ ይህንን ሥርዓት በዚህ ዓመት ወደ ሥራ እያስገባች ያለ ሲሆን የክልል መለያዎችን በማስቀረት በቪየና ኮንቬንሽን መሠረት የ”ETH” / “ኢት” ኮድና ኪውአርኮድ መለያዎችን ያካትታል።
አዲሱ ሰሌዳ ጠንካራና የረዥም ጊዜ አገልግሎት እንዲሰጥ ተደርጎ ተዘጋጅቷል። በህትመቱ ከፍተኛ የደህንነት ጥንቃቄ ተደርጓል። ሰሌዳው ዘመናዊ ቺፕና የፊት መስታወት ላይ የሚለጠፍ የRFID መለያ አለው።
ይህ አሰራር ተሽከርካሪው የአገልግሎት ለውጥ በሚያደርግበት ጊዜ የማይቀየር ሲሆን ተጨማሪ ወጪን ሙሉ በሙሉ ያስቀራል። በርካታ የዓለም ሀገራት ተመሳሳይ ወጥ ሥርዓቶችን ይጠቀማሉ።
