The sci-fi fantasy co-op shooter Far Far West has sold more than one million copies on Steam since launching in early access on April 28. Publisher Fireshine Games has used the game's success to state it will not work with partners that rely on generative AI.
The game, developed by Evil Raptor and published by Fireshine Games, reached the sales milestone within three weeks despite remaining limited to Steam and far from a full 1.0 release. Its simple design and lack of live-service elements have contributed to strong early performance, with the developer showing no signs of slowing down momentum.
