Kenneth Law, a former chef from Canada, pleaded guilty Friday to counseling or aiding suicide in a Newmarket, Ontario court. The plea covers charges related to 14 deaths in Ontario. Prosecutors agreed to drop 14 murder charges as part of the deal.
Law stood in the prisoner's box wearing a dark blazer and white shirt when he entered the pleas. Sentencing was scheduled for September. The charges involved people aged 16 to 36 who died after receiving sodium nitrite from him via online sales.
