Coventry manager Frank Lampard has signed a new contract that keeps him at the club until 2029. The deal comes after the team secured promotion to the Premier League last season.
Frank Lampard has extended his stay at Coventry City with a contract through 2029. He took charge in November 2024 and led the team to the top of the Championship, earning promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years.
Lampard recorded 45 wins in 82 games during his time at the club. In a statement on the club website, he said he was delighted to sign and described the promotion as a moment the city enjoyed together.
Owner Doug King welcomed the extension. He noted the upward trajectory under Lampard and said it was fitting for him to lead the side into its first Premier League season in a generation.
The new deal provides stability ahead of the upcoming campaign, with Lampard emphasizing the need to recharge and prepare for the challenges ahead.
