Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has confirmed he will not take another coaching role this summer. The 52-year-old said the timing is not right after his departure from the club in February.
Frank, who was dismissed less than a year after taking charge at Tottenham, issued a statement thanking supporters for their messages. He reflected positively on his time at the club despite challenging results and praised the staff working behind the scenes. The Danish coach plans to use the coming months to study, observe other leaders and spend time with family and friends. He will also cover the 2026 FIFA World Cup for Danish television and BBC Sport, as well as attend the Tour de France. Frank acknowledged interest from other clubs, including Crystal Palace and Fulham, but stated he is not ready to return immediately. “For me, this summer is not the right time to go back into management,” he said. He added that he looks forward to resuming the role when the time is right.
