Guangzhou drainage team completes flood relief mission in Guangxi

A 27-member drainage team from Guangzhou has returned home after completing a 13-day flood relief mission in Guangxi.

The team, from Guangzhou Science City Drainage Management Co., Ltd., was dispatched after the Huangpu District Water Affairs Bureau received a cross-regional order on the evening of July 6.
It left Huangpu early on July 7, drove eight hours through heavy rain, reached Qinzhou at 5:30 p.m., and began full operations by 10 p.m. that night.
Using 10 emergency vehicles, the team drained about 272,600 cubic meters of water from seven sites in Qinzhou and Guigang with zero errors or accidents.
Local residents supplied water and materials while government staff worked alongside the team.
