広州市の27人からなる排水チームが、広西チワン族自治区での13日間にわたる洪水救援任務を終えて帰還した。
このチームは広州科学城排水管理有限公司の所属で、7月6日夜に黄埔区水務局が広域的な派遣要請を受けたことを受けて出動した。
チームは7月7日早朝に黄埔を出発し、大雨の中を8時間かけて移動。午後5時30分に欽州市に到着し、同日夜10時には全作業を開始した。
緊急車両10台を使用し、欽州市と貴港市の計7カ所から約27万2600立方メートルの排水を行い、事故やミスはゼロだった。
作業中、地元住民からは水や物資が提供され、政府職員もチームと協力して活動にあたった。
