Kamiya's message emphasizes the game's lasting legacy beyond its original release and HD remaster. Kamiya expressed deep gratitude to fans, stating, 'Seeing the support you've all poured into Ōkami since its original release, together with my immense pride for having worked on it, could not make me happier to celebrate this milestone.' He revealed owning a personal collection of Amaterasu figures and plushies, underscoring the character's appeal. Looking ahead, Kamiya affirmed that fan connections to Ōkami will deepen with the sequel from his studio, Clovers, and publisher Capcom.
