Nidy Johana Londoño, 30, originally from Acevedo in Huila, was stabbed to death in her home in Ciudad Bolívar, Bogotá, following a jealousy-fueled argument with her partner.
The incident took place at calle 68F with carrera 37 in the Arborizadora Alta neighborhood. Initial reports indicate the victim defended herself and injured the attacker before both were taken to Hospital de Meissen, where she died minutes later.
Officials from the Fiscalía General de la Nación, through its Technical Investigation Corps, are conducting the scene examination and inquiries to clarify the events. The alleged perpetrator remains in police custody and under medical care.
So far in 2026, five feminicides have been reported in Bogotá along with 895 risk assessments for feminicide, according to the Secretaría Distrital de la Mujer. A brother of the victim is arranging the transfer of the body to Huila.
