A California jury has determined that Orange County financial analyst Ramy Fahim was sane when he killed his colleague and another man in Anaheim in 2022. Fahim had pleaded guilty to the murders but claimed insanity during the trial phase.
The jury's ruling came after prosecutors presented evidence that Fahim, 30, ambushed Griffin Cuomo, 23, at the victim's apartment and stabbed him more than 40 times with a hunting dagger. Fahim also killed Cuomo's roommate Jonathan Bahm, 23, who was present and called police. The attacks occurred in April 2022 at the apartment in the 2100 block of E. Katella Avenue.
