Designer Kei Ninomiya presented his first menswear collection on June 17 at Pitti Uomo in Florence. The show featured an extension of his DSM Kei Ninomiya line for Dover Street Market.
The collection drew from Ninomiya's signature style under Comme des Garçons while adapting it for menswear. It included leather perfecto jackets, schoolgirl skirts, shredded sweaters and studded belts.
A collaboration with OTW by Vans produced Slip-On sneakers in a plant pattern and classic checkerboard design. Models wore floral-tipped hairstyles created by Pablo Kümin.
Ninomiya previously worked with Reebok on floral footwear. The Pitti Uomo appearance marked his first menswear runway show.
