Nintendo has advanced the worldwide theatrical release of the live-action The Legend of Zelda film by one week. The movie will now premiere on April 30, 2027, instead of May 7. Shigeru Miyamoto made the announcement on social media.
Miyamoto, the Nintendo executive and co-creator of the franchise, posted the update on X. He stated that the team is working hard to deliver the film as soon as possible, noting there is less than a year until release. The shift follows an earlier adjustment from March 26, 2027, to May 7 due to production reasons.
