Louis Vuitton showed its Spring 2027 menswear collection on a dramatic water-themed set in Paris on June 23. Designer Pharrell Williams blended tailored dandy looks with surfing elements. The runway featured a large wave installation and sand flooring.
Models walked through a 10-meter-high wall of water designed to resemble a breaking wave. The show took place in the evening heat of Paris on a sand-floored space with weathered wood benches.
Williams described the collection as dandy with a surfing twist. Looks included wetsuits made in the south of France, surfboards, and jackets crafted from hundreds of LV patches. Bags featured coral-crusted beading and a new silk tech fabric.
The house announced funding for a reef restoration project in French Polynesia. Accessories ranged from shell minaudières to embroidered monogram pieces from the Acid Rain collaboration.
"I really do it with love," Williams said after the show.
