Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with Ahmed El Sewedy, president and CEO of Elsewedy Electric, to review the company’s strategy and expansion plans.
Madbouly reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s industrial sector. He stressed efforts to localize strategic industries and expand private sector participation.
El Sewedy highlighted investment opportunities in industry and tourism. He focused on automotive projects including electric vehicles and cooperation with the General Authority of the Golden Triangle Economic Zone.
El Sewedy announced that the Elsewedy–Ezz factory has an annual capacity of 80,000 vehicles backed by investments worth billions of Egyptian pounds. Projects in Borg El Arab and Upper Egypt were also reviewed.
