Madonna's short film Confessions II — The Film became available worldwide on YouTube on June 8. The 10- to 14-minute project premiered earlier at the Tribeca Festival in New York.
The visual project accompanies the singer's upcoming album Confessions II, scheduled for release on July 3. It features six tracks and includes appearances by Sabrina Carpenter, Feid, Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Julia Garner and Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon. Directed by TORSO with music direction from Stuart Price, the film depicts a fever-dream night at a club. It received standing ovations at its Tribeca debut on June 5. One track, Danceteria, credits Lou Reed as a songwriter due to an interpolation of his song Walk on the Wild Side. The film is now streaming globally.
