Max Verstappen is set to compete in the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend after driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Nurburgring 24 Hours, where a late driveshaft failure ended a strong run for the Verstappen.com Racing entry.
Verstappen, 28, shared the #3 Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Daniel Juncadella, Jules Gounon and Lucas Auer at the Nordschleife as part of his 2026 Nürburgring program. The car led for much of the race before the failure with three hours remaining. Verstappen described the experience as enjoyable despite the result and confirmed interest in future endurance races if his schedule permits.
