Former WWE star Nic Nemeth has spoken about his recent return to the company for a match against Solo Sikoa. He also compared the experience to winning the TNA World Championship.
Nic Nemeth, performing as Dolph Ziggler in WWE, returned for the Last Time Is Now Tournament at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13. The match took place at Madison Square Garden through a partnership with TNA, where Nemeth currently holds the TNA World Championship.
Speaking to Rewind Recap Relive, Nemeth described the crowd reaction to his entrance music as a beautiful moment. He said the fans erupted after a brief pause, comparing the feeling to his Money in the Bank cash-in.
Nemeth also discussed his TNA title victory at Slammiversary, where he cashed in the Call Your Shot trophy to defeat Mike Santana. He noted the difference from his WWE World Heavyweight Championship win, saying he wins about 60 to 65 percent of matches in TNA rather than losing most bouts.
The wrestler expressed pride in representing TNA and said everyone in Gorilla position reacted positively to his performance.
